THE WATER AND WASTE OPERATORS ASSOCIATION

OF MARYLAND, DELAWARE, AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

AND THE CENTRAL SECTION

 

The W.W.O.A., along with The Central Section of the WWOA, will hold a joint spring regional meeting on April 29, 2009.  This meeting / tech. sessions will be held at the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Hall located in Linthicum, Md. (Directions on reverse side). A business meeting will be held and followed by technical sessions. Lunch will be a buffet style on site consisting of delicious, traditional catered fare.

 

Registration begins at 8:00 am, and will include coffee and donuts. An agenda appears below. Technical sessions will be submitted for T.R.E. approval.

 

Technical Session (AM)  – “Polymers / Coagulants and Phosphorous Removal” presented by Mr. Joe Shemanski of Delta Chemical. (approx. 2 hours)

 

Technical Session  (PM)  - “Advanced Process Control in Activated Sludge Plants” presented by  Messrs. Tilo Stahl and Matt Gray  from BioChem Technology Inc. . (approx. 2 hours)

 

Executive Board Short Course Scholarship drawings will be held at this regional. We do not require your attendance, but you must fill out an entry form and return it to be entered.

 

Pre-Registration for the meeting will be $25.00 for members, which includes the meeting, tech. sessions and lunch. For those attending the business meeting and technical session only, there will be a fee of $5.00.  Non-members add $20.00 for annual association dues.  Registration will be accepted at the door for $30.00 (members) $50.00 (non-members).
