                   THE WATER AND WASTE OPERATORS ASSOCIATION

              OF MARYLAND, DELAWARE, AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

                                                       CENTRAL SECTION

 

The Central Section of the WWOA will hold a meeting / tech. session on Tuesday Feb.17, 2009.  This event will be held at the DCWASA, Blue Plains facility located in Washington, D.C. (Directions below). The business meeting will be highlighted by the annual election of officers. Please forward your nominations to one of the above officers, or you may make nominations from the floor at the meeting. Director-Elect and three trustee positions are open. A Short Course scholarship will be drawn at the meeting as well. You must be present to win.

 

A Technical session will be held during the morning and afternoon, separated by a cold cut lunch on site.

 

Registration begins at 8:00 am, and will include coffee and donuts. The business meeting will precede the technical session which will be submitted for T.R.E.approval.

 

Technical Session - “ENR- Process Control”.  Mr. Salil Kharkar of DCWASA will be our presenter. This topic provides useful and timely information for all. (Approx. 2 hours am and 2 hours pm)

 

Pre-Registration for the meeting will be $9.00 for members; this includes the meeting and lunch. For those attending the business meeting and technical session(s) only, there will be a fee of $3.00.  Non-members add $20.00 for annual association dues.  Registration will be accepted at the door for $12.00 (members) $32.00 (non-members).
