Job
Description
The
VWEA Board is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive
Director. This is a contract position and the successful candidate will
maintain an office within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The
Executive Director works with the Board to provide strategic leadership for
VWEA to ensure programs are consistent with mission and vision. The Executive
Director is responsible for the day to day management of VWEA, its volunteers
and is responsible for managing VWEA’s primary functions of educational
programming, membership services and VWEA financial sustainability. The
Executive Director will be liaison with WEF and work with other Virginia
professional associations as needed.
The
starting salary will depend on the qualifications of the successful candidate
and is expected to be in the range of $50,000 to $60,000. The successful
candidate may be subjected to a background check. The full position description

NATURE OF WORK: The Regulatory and Compliance Engineer I is

The
District Manager reports directly to the Board of Directors and is the chief
administrative officer of the Metro District. Direct reports to the District
Manager include the Deputy Manager and six department heads.
The

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

organization of comparable complexity, preferably in a regulated industry; must
include significant budget responsibility, including oversight of capital
projects.
